- Last day to register by mail: Mon, Oct 5Paper applications had to be postmarked or hand-delivered to a voter registration agency or supervisor of elections by Monday, October 5, 2026 (s. 97.055, F.S.: books close on the 29th day before the election).
- Last day to register in person: Mon, Oct 5Same deadline in person at the supervisor of elections office, a driver license office, or a library/other registration agency: Monday, October 5, 2026. Florida has no same-day registration.

- Last day to ask for a mail ballot: Thu, Oct 22Official rule: 'The deadline to request that a ballot be mailed is no later than 5 p.m. on the 12th day before the election.' For November 3 that is 5:00 PM local time, Thursday, October 22, 2026. After that you can still pick up your own ballot in person at the supervisor's office through Election Day, but from the start of early voting on you must sign an affidavit that an emergency keeps you from voting in person. Simplest: vote early or on Election Day.
- Mail ballot deadline: Tue, Nov 37:00 PM local time
- mail (USPS or a private carrier) to your county supervisor of elections; must be 'received, regardless of postmark' by 7 PM local time on November 3
- secure ballot intake station or front counter at the supervisor of elections main or branch office, until 7 PM on Election Day
- Not at your Election Day polling place. The state says a voter who has a mail ballot can bring it to the polls and vote a regular ballot instead; the precinct does not accept the mail ballot as a vote.
- Election Day: Tue, Nov 3You can vote from 7 AM to 7 PM. Official: 'The polls are open on Election Day, from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m. (local time).' 'Any voters waiting in line at 7:00 p.m. will have the opportunity to cast a ballot.' On Election Day you 'must vote at his or her assigned precinct/polling location.' Orlando and Tallahassee are on Eastern Time; Pensacola and the western Panhandle are on Central Time.
